No. 02 — The Current Release

White Lines2025 Chardonnay

100% ChardonnaySanta Barbara CountyNever OakedMember Exclusive

Chardonnay gets blamed for a lot of things — most of them caused by oak. This one never met a barrel.

Dave Phinney took fruit from Santa Barbara County and let the tank do the talking: Meyer lemon and lime zest, white blossom, wet stone — and a salt-air minerality that keeps circling back. The label is a road at night. The wine drinks the same way.

Drop No. 7 · Current

White Lines

Chardonnay · Santa Barbara County · 2025

Never met a barrel. Meyer lemon, wet stone, salt-air minerality — a clean line straight through, like the road on the label.

The story

Drop No. 6

Keyed Up

Pinot Noir · Russian River / Sonoma Coast · 2024

Two of California’s best Pinot regions that almost never share a bottle. Russian River brings the pretty fruit; Sonoma Coast brings the nerve.

The story

Drop No. 5

The Throwback Kit

Three bottles · A look back through the cellar

No Coincidence, Me and My Shadow, and Call Your Mother — one label is literally shotgun art. Long stories. Good ones.

The story

Drop No. 4

Safe Word

Malbec · Chalk Hill, Sonoma County · 2023

Malbec has an identity crisis — brooding in France, friendly in Argentina. Phinney planted his in Chalk Hill and told it to be both.

The story

Drop No. 3

Save Me San Francisco

Cabernet blend · Napa & Sonoma · 2023

Made with Pat Monahan of Train, benefiting Family House. Ships with handwritten lyrics and a zine on Karl the Fog.

The story

Drop No. 2

Awkward Silence

Zinfandel · Petite Sirah · California · 2023

Named after a bottling-room math mistake that meant a mostly-Zin wine couldn’t legally be called Zinfandel. The room went quiet; the name stuck.

The story

Drop No. 1

Broken Swallowtail

Zinfandel · Cabernet · California · 2023

The one that started the club — brambly, jammy-but-not-sweet, chasing deliciousness over dogma. It disappears before you need a second one.
